P5

Final Poster:

Evaluation:

Background:

I chose the background because office buildings and green areas are both places in which the character spends time in the film so I thought it fit well

Font:

I made the font for the title extremely big so it would stand out and be easy to read from further away.

Colour:

My main colour scheme is white, red and green as these are common colours used in comedy posters: These are also bright colours which fits well with my genre as it's generally happy.

Five star ratings and comments:

I chose to include these (and make them big) as it makes it obvious to viewers that it's a good film and highly encourages them to watch it.

Actor name:

I included the actors name that plays the main character as famous actors are also a good way to encourage audiences to watch the film as they know if it's got a good actor starring in it, it's probably a good film.

Release date:

The release date is a vital part of film posters as it lets the viewers know when the film will be available to watch. I didn't want to make it too big as there are other ways to find out the release date of the film and I felt that it would be more important for the five star ratings to be big to catch the audiences initial attention.

Credit block:

The credit block is another convention that MUST be on the poster as although it's small there must still be credit given to people who have helped work on the film.
